Technologies at Our Dental Clinic

At Drs. Daniel McKenna & Robert Dunphy's clinic, the technology we use helps to inform treatment planning and make your dental appointments run smoothly. Because we can display digital X-rays and scans on the monitors in our treatment rooms, we can show you any issues in your mouth and walk you through your treatment plan.

Our goal is to provide patients with dental care while making sure they are fully informed about their oral health. Dental technology helps us do that.

Digital X-Rays

Instead of traditional photographic X-ray film, digital X-rays use digital sensors. They create detailed computer images of the teeth and gums, as well as other oral structures and conditions, allowing your dentist to examine areas of the mouth not visible to the naked eye.

Panoramic X-Rays

Your dentist can use panoramic X-rays to create a single image of your entire mouth. The teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal and sinus structures are all represented flat in this image. Dentures, braces, extractions, and implants are frequently treated with panoramic x-rays.

Dental Lasers

Lasers (focused light beams) are used in dentistry for a variety of soft and hard tissue procedures. Our dentists can perform dental procedures with less pain and fewer medical interventions thanks to them. Our dentists use lasers to remove overgrown or decayed tissue, reshape the gums, harden dental restorations quickly, and whiten teeth.

CEREC Same-Day Restorations

CEREC® (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) is a system that allows you to make and place ceramic dental crowns, inlays, and onlays in one visit.
